Borussia Dortmund signs attacking player Karim Adeyemi

Dortmund makes a quick move to strengthen its attack

Adeyemi has six goals and five assists since the beginning of the year

Borussia Dortmund has signed attacking player Karim Adeyemi from Austrian champions RB Salzburg. The 20-year-old has six goals and five assists since the start of the year and is in great shape for Borussia Dortmund's title.

The transfer fee is reportedly around €30 million and Adeyemi has signed a contract until 2027.

"Karim Adeyemi is a young, talented player with great potential," said Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc. "He is a fast, direct player who can create chances for himself and others. We are very happy to have him join our team."

Adeyemi is a German U21 international and has represented his country at various youth levels. He made his debut for RB Salzburg in 2019 and has since become a key player for the club.

Dortmund is currently second in the Bundesliga, one point behind Bayern Munich. The club is hoping that Adeyemi can help them challenge for the title this season.
