Dave Roberts announced his retirement from the San Francisco Giants on Monday. The 45-year-old outfielder has played 10 years for the Giants, including the 2010 World Series Championship team.

Roberts was a fan favorite in San Francisco, known for his speed and defensive skills. He was also a key member of the Giants' 2010 World Series championship team.

In his 10 years with the Giants, Roberts played in 1,442 games, hitting .276 with 123 home runs and 527 RBIs. He also stole 243 bases.

Roberts is expected to join the Giants' coaching staff next season.
