The sources confirmed that Kansas City based Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City have acquired midfielder Robert Voloder from FC Cincinnati for $200,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). Voloder has requested a trade to his former club and Sporting KC were able to facilitate the move quickly, pending a physical.

A source close to the player has revealed that Voloder was unhappy with his playing time in Cincinnati and wanted to return to Kansas City, where he spent the 2021 season on loan. The trade reunites Voloder with Sporting KC manager Peter Vermes, who was his coach during his loan spell at the club.
